I’m a Canadian travel advisor with close to a decade of experience in bespoke European travel, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of designing hundreds of completely custom trips for my clients.

Europe has also been home. I spent seven years living there, using every opportunity I could to explore beyond the places I already knew, from weekends away and long drives to the kind of repeat visits that let you get to know a destination beyond its highlights. It gave me an incredibly personal knowledge of much of Europe and shaped the way I plan travel today.

Italy, though, is in a category of its own for me. After years of calling it home and traveling extensively throughout the country, I know it with the familiarity that only comes from living there. I know the places worth going out of your way for, the ones that look better online than they feel in person, when to splurge on the hotel, when a private guide can transform a day, and when it is better to simply slow down and enjoy where you are.

Today, I plan private, tailor-made journeys for clients from the United States and Canada. I get to know how they actually like to travel, then bring the pieces together through exceptional hotels, people I trust on the ground, thoughtful experiences and the kind of careful planning that makes everything feel easy once you arrive.

I love beautiful hotels and unforgettable experiences as much as anyone, but for me, great travel has never been about ticking off a list of “must-sees.” It is about creating a trip that feels right for you, and hopefully one you will still be talking about years later.
